Merry Christmas!
We went to my Uncle Cornell's house for a party on Christmas Eve, then spent Christmas Day at home. Click here to see my Christmas 2002 Page.

Uncle Jason is staying with us for a few weeks. Guy is going to his Dad's for Christmas, so we had a party before he left.

Then Dad, Uncle Jason, and Joshua went bowling. They started acting kinda goofy.

Mom and Dad went to the Kings' game. The Kings won against the Hawks. Dad thinks the Kings are going to win the championship.

Happy Halloween! We had another great Halloween. We carved some pumpkins, but first we had to get the gunk out of them. Mom cooked the seeds and we ate those for a snack.

Then I dressed up as a cowboy. Josh was a Ninja at school. Melina was Winnie the Pooh.

We had a lot of candy that night, and there were so many kids that came to our house that we ran out of candy really fast.

Happy Birthday to me! I turned 4 years old today! We had a big party, and a whole bunch of people came from all over. We also had a Blues Clues jumpy house, but Dad never took a picture of it.

I got really cool gifts, including some cars and trucks. Lolo and Lola gave us some nice gifts from their trip to China and Thailand. I also got my own Jeep that I get to drive around in the backyard. Here's a picture of Mom and Auntie Catherine wearing their Thai hats, and the three of us driving around in my new Jeep.

Mom had an open house today to show off some of her Home Interiors. She set up the house real nice. The candles made the room smell good.

We went to my cousin Maia's birthday party. It was nice to see all my cousins and play with Maia's toys.

We went to Shasta Lake this past weekend to see what kind of neat stuff is up there. Dad said we could take all the Dam pictures we wanted to. And ask some Dam questions. But we only took one picture.

We went to the Shasta Caverns so Mom could finally see what Caverns look like. This time, Melina went with us, but she got tired of the Caverns and Dad went back, but Mom, Josh, and I got to see the rest of the Caverns.

Then we went on Whiskeytown Lake on a boat the went fishing. Fishing wasn't as fun or as easy as in Minnesota, but the lake was really cool. Dad only caught one fish, and it was tiny (see it on the right?).

On the way back home, we stopped by Lassen Volcanic National Park. Here's Josh standing on a "hot rock", a piece of lava stone that shot out of the volcano. It's not hot anymore. Here's a picture of Lassen peak. There were hikers going to the top (Dad says it's about 10,000 feet high).

We went hiking along one of the trails. It was a long hike, but Melina had fun riding on Dad's back. We ran into the same people in our Shasta Cavern tour, so it was really funny. Josh got his own walking stick.

At the end of the long hike, there was really smelly boiling mud pots and steam. Dad said to be careful because it's really hot. It was still really smelly.

Dad and Mom spent 4 days painting the patio cover. Josh helped out a little.

We went to the California State Fair. It was pretty nice day, not that hot. We played some games, rode some rides, and then watched a free rock concert by Foreigner. It was cool.

We went hiking today around Wrights Lake. It was a really nice lake, but Dad says it gets cold at night.

Melina liked riding on Dad's back. She just started walking this past Thursday! The lake was very clear and someone said there was a lot of trout in it.

We went to Santa Cruz today. We stopped by this place called the Mystery Spot. It had really weird buildings and trees.

Then we went to the beach and boardwalk. Dad found a small crab in the sand, and then we rode some rides until it got dark.

Melina and Joshua had their birthday party today! Everyone came out and we had cake and played in the pool and opened presents. It was nice for everyone to come.

It's Melina's first birthday today! We went on a trip to the California Caverns and then to Pine Mountain Lake.

Here's us at the caverns. It was really hot outside but cold and dark inside the caves. Mom couldn't come with us because Melina couldn't come with us.

It was a very nice day at Pine Mountain Lake. Here we are playing at the beach. And there's birthday-girl herself, having fun. I was showing Dad how old I was.

We just came back from Minnesota. We were there for 3 weeks. We had a lot of fun at the Fair, swimming at the water park, and spending time at the lake fishing. Click on the picture below to take you to my Minnesota Trip page.

We had a great July 4. We went to the Folsom Community Park and there were a lot of people, and Mom and I rode the train. It was noisy and there was a lot of smoke but we had fun. Then we went camping, but I burned my finger.

Josh is taking swimming lessons. He jumps right in, especially when it's hot. I just sit in the shade and play with the misty thingy.

Josh is into baseball a little more this year. Here's a game in Serrano on a nice day, and Josh got a really good hit here (see the ball?).

Melina started crawling only about two weeks ago. She can really crawl now. Seems like everywhere I go, she's there. But that's OK.

Joshua has started baseball. He's back on the Marlins! He's enjoying it much more this time around. Here's Josh swinging at the ball and running to third base:

Melina is growing well. She hasn't discovered how to use her legs to crawl, despite how strong she is:

Not much is happening. It's getting a little warmer, but it's still raining a lot. Melina can sit up pretty well now, and she's working on moving across the floor.

Mom says we keep bugging Melina, be we just love her a bunch.

The past week, we were at South Lake Tahoe. We stayed at a really fun place called the Embassy Vacation Resort. Here's me and Melina on the first day:

Mom, Guy, and Hillary went snowmobiling. We also played in the snow right by the lake. You can see our hotel behind us.

The resort had lots of fun things to do, like swim in the pool or spa, play pool or foosball, go to the arcade, or play with playdoh. Our room was really big and had a fireplace, separate bedroom, and full kitchen. It was also a really nice warm week to be here. Here's me and Melina playing with playdoh.

Dad went skiing, and Guy went snowboarding. Josh took skiing lessons for three days, and then went skiing with Dad. But when we went sledding, Josh got a scratch on his forehead. Dad said he looks like Harry Potter now.

Today is Dad's birthday and we went to the Exploratorium in San Francisco. It was a lot of fun. Here is Josh and me at the pond with the swans, and me by the lizard cage (do you see the hidden lizard?).

The tree is gone, and the lights are off the house. Josh and Guy are back in school. Melina is eating three meals a day now, and she's working on sitting up:
