Happy Almost New Year! We end the year celebrating with the Mallari cousins. Many more celebrations too!

Merry Christmas! We decided to go to Chinatown in San Francisco and have Dim Sum. It was really, really good. Then we walked around for a while, and saw some really cool things. Then we went to Pier 39 and hung out.

Almost Christmas! Since we were having Christmas in Northern California, we decided to have a nice Christmas dinner early, on Christmas Eve.

Just because we moved to California doesn't mean we can't have fun in the snow. Dad drove about 2 hours and we went tubing. It was pretty cool.

Mom wanted to do something exciting for Thanksgiving, so we went whale watching off San Diego. We ended up seeing lots and lots of dolphins, and two whales. You can see Melina in the 4th picture, and I was able to hold a piece of baleen, which is what the whales use to filter out their food. It was pretty cool.

We decided to go to Las Vegas this weekend, and meet Lola and Lolo there. There was a lot to see, and so many different cool hotels. Melina took a picture with Whoopi Goldberg (okay, so she wasn't real). Then Melina and Mom got to ride in a gondola.

We had our Mallari family reunion at our house. We spent a day at the beach, a day at Legoland, and a day at Disneyland. We had a lot of fun!

We watched the July 4 fireworks over Rancho Santa Margarita lake. Everyone lines the sides of the lake with blankets in the morning, and then they show up at night to sit down and enjoy the fireworks. So we did the same thing and it was really cool.

Melina's friend Sophia and Mom's friend Vera came out to California to visit. Sophia's brother and Dad came too. We had a good time at dinner in Laguna Beach. The weather was real nice. Sophia and Melina got to go to Disneyland too.

Melina and Josh decided to go swimming, and figured they'd see how Goldie and Luna like the pool. By the look of their eyes, I'd say they wanted to get out of the pool as fast as they could.

For Memorial Day, we decided to drive to San Diego and visit a haunted hotel (Hotel Del Coronado) and La Jolla to see the sunset. The beach was really cool and so was the hotel. It was a really nice day.

We didn't wait too long after our move to visit Hollywood. We took some pictures with the stars.

It's moving day. The movers spent 3 days packing up all of our stuff, and we took a final picture in front of our house. Then we got on a plane (so did Goldie and Luna) and flew to California. It was warmer, and the sunset was really cool.

Happy New Year!!!! Lots of changes for the new year. For one, my Dad got a new job in California, so he's there right now, and we're going to move there in a few months. In the meantime, Melina had her last dance recital. She did really well, and my favorite part was the cake afterwards!
